Mae Ruppert

YORK Mae (Kline) Ruppert, 88, entered into rest on Friday at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Vernon Ruppert. She was born May 1, 1925, in York, the daughter of the late Irvin S. and Carrie Kline. Mae worked for the former Jacks Fashion Store and later the Bon Ton for many years. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Wolf's ECC. A visitation will be 10:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2114 W. Market St., with a funeral service to follow at 11a.m. with her pastor, the Rev. Dr. Matthew Stillman officiating. Burial will be at Wolf's Church Cemetery. Mae is survived by a granddaughter, Heather Ruppert; an aunt, Grace Schrum; step grandson, Ed Reams; and a step great- grandson, Miles Reams; a daughter-in-law, Tonya Ruppert; and many cousins and nieces. She was preceded in death by a son, Vernon Ruppert, Jr.; and two step sisters , Emma Klinedinst and Marion Althoff.
