Susan C. Heldibridle

YORK Susan C. Heldibridle, 64, of York, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Manor Care York South. She was the loving wife of Terry G. Heldibridle for 47 years. Born October 13, 1948, in Hanover, she was the daughter of Beatrice L. (Fuhrman) and the late Clair L. Werner. Susan was a member of the Faith United Church of Christ. Mrs. Heldibridle was also a 25 year member of the York Symphony Chorus. Her passion was ringing the handbells, especially with St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, York. Susan also played the Handbells for many events including the Handbell Festival at Bucknell University. Along with her husband, Mrs. Heldibridle is survived by her daughter, Deborah M. Heldibridle of York; her granddaughter, Alyssa C. Hoke of York; her mother, Beatrice L. Werner of York; and her sister, Joyce E. Werner of York. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Heldibridle will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Faith United Church of Christ, 509 Pacific Ave., York, PA 17404 with Rev. Dr. Amy Dows officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, York.
