Isabel Rose Godfrey, age 3, of Jackson Township, died Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at her residence.
Born January 11, 2013, in York, she was the daughter of Regina (Godfrey) Lester. In addition to her mother, Isabel is survived by two brothers, Lennon Althoff and Daniel Lester; maternal grandparents, Alan and Robin Godfrey of Thomasville; maternal great-grandmother, Janet Semeraro of Fayetteville; two aunts, Janet Anderson, and her husband Stephen, of York, and Vanessa Wildasin, and her husband Rodney, of Hanover; and numerous cousins.
Private funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2016. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 S. George St., York, is donating their services, staff and facilities to honor Isabel's life.

RIP beautiful baby girl. I'm so sorry this happened to you. I can't understand how something like this happens to precious children. My prayers are for your brothers and close relatives I know you were very loved here on earth by many people who were in your life. Your in heaven now being treated like the princess you are. I never knew you or your family, however, when I heard your story my heart broke into a million pieces. You did not deserve this! You are so beautiful. I pray for you and your brothers every night. My heart breaks for little Isabel, her brothers, and all of her, loving, mourning family. I know my son was waiting for her as she entered the Kingdom of Heaven. She feels no pain. And I pray and hurt for anyone who knew and loved her. I lost my son 4 years ago, just shy of his 3rd birthday. I can picture him and baby Isabel playing in a field of wildflowers, laughing. I cannot imagine losing a precious little soul in such a horrible, inexcusable, unnecessary way, but please know my prayers, thoughts, and everything else is with you all in this, the darkest of hours. I may not know you, but I love you, and I will light a candle for this beautiful soul every night next to my son's. I pray you find peace.
