York - Cindy K. Myers, 83, of York died on August 6, 2018 at her home. Born in York, PA on September 2, 1934, Cindy was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Busser) Kochenour. She was the wife of the late Edwin I. Myers. Mr. and Mrs. Myers were married for 60 years prior to his death on May 6, 2018.

Cindy enjoyed gardening and entertaining. Her love of the sun and being outdoors led her to spend the winter months in Florida for over 40 years. Cindy was passionate about caring for animals especially horses and dogs.

She was a 1958 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Cindy was a member of the Junior League of York, the Young Women's Club, York Hospital Auxiliary, and the Red Hat Society. She was a former member of St. John Episcopal Church.

Cindy is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Husson of Dover; two grandchildren, Thomas Stoner and Cassandra Husson; and three great grandchildren Audrey, Gabriella, and Brodey. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Edwin I. Myers Jr.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Normandie Ridge, 1700 Normandie Drive, York, PA 17408 with the Rev. Dr. Eddie D.D. Miller officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Wednesday at Normandie Ridge.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA of York County, 3159 North Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406.
