Milford, DE - Dwight B. Sigel, 84, formerly of Dover, entered into rest at 5:35 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Delaware Veterans Home in Milford, DE. He was the loving husband of Beryl A. (Beaver) Sigel. They were married 27 years.

Born September 20, 1933 in York, Dwight was a son of the late Floyd and Ethel (Hoopengardner) Sigel.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and served during the Korean War. Dwight worked as a truck driver for Roadway Express.

He was a member of Union Fire & Hose Co. #1 in Dover and enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and hunting.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a step daughter, Candice B. Swetland of Wyoming, DE; two step sons, Cameron Rudy of East Berlin, and Christopher Rudy of Lewes, DE; a brother, Gary Sigel of York; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley J. (Schmuck) Sigel; and four brothers, Rosston, Travis, Raymond and Norman Sigel.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Dwight's funeral at 11 a.m. and the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Rohler's Assembly of God, 761 Rohlers Church Rd., Dover. Burial will follow in Salem Union Cemetery, Dover, where veteran's honors will be presented by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Officiating will be the Rev. Edward Rowand. Emig Funeral Home, Dover, is serving his family.
