F. Colleen Koller

York - F. Colleen Koller, age 94, of York passed away peacefully January 12 at Colonial Manor Nursing home. She was the wife of Sherman H. Koller who passed away in 1989.

Colleen was born April 18, 1926 in York and was the daughter of the late Henry Frey and Cleo (Hetterly) Frey. She worked in food service most of her life including the Memory Lane McDonald's where she was called Mom by the young staff.

Colleen was an active member of the Benevolent and Protective Order (BPOE) Lodge of Elks 213 and one of the first female members in 1998. She was a lifelong member of the Grace Reformed United Church of Christ.

Colleen was fulfilled as a loving and caring Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother.

Colleen is survived by 3 children, Timothy L. Koller and wife Linda of York, Keith R. Koller of Dallastown and Tina M. Hager of Long Neck, DE, nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in law, Carla Koller, sister, Audrey Greeley of Fairfax, VA and daughter, Penelope Crawford whom she lived with for over 20 years.

All services will be private with a celebration of life to be held on a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Elks B.P.O.E. Capital Campaign 223 North George St. York, PA 17401 or a charity of your choice.
