York - Joan M. Nolin, 90, entered into rest on Tuesday morning, July 10, 2018, at Manor Care South. She was the wife of the late Earl R. Nolin.

She was born November 16, 1927 in York, the daughter of the late Paul P. Mann, Sr. and Bernardine C. (Adams) Mann.

Joan worked as a secretary for various companies and later worked at Penn State York. For most of her adult life, she was a devoted wife and full time homemaker, joyfully raising her 4 girls. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Golden Nuggets, Golden Nuggets Choir, Women's Society and a volunteer in various capacities at the church.

She is survived by four children, Nancy L. Spiese and husband Sam of York, Jane M. Vess and husband Phil of Baltimore, Anne T. Gantz and husband Mike of York, Joanie E. Nolin of York, seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, five siblings Kathryn Butera of York, Edward A. Mann of York, Paul P. Mann, Jr. of York, Mary C. Rex, Severna Park, MD, and Patricia C. Mann of York, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Phyllis Uffelman, Robert Mann, David Mann, and Nancy Kauffman, and a grandson Jay Spiese.

A visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 902 Mt. Rose Ave., York and 9-10 am, Saturday at St. Mary's Church, 309 S. George St., York with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at 10 am with her pastor, the Rev. Jonathan P. Sawicki officiating. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery.
