Dover - Katherine N. (Krenitsky) Wheet, 69, died on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Dennis Wheet, Sr. to whom she was married for nearly 20 years.

A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Pastor Dan Biles officiating. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday and 10-11 a.m. on Friday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery.

Born on April 28, 1949 in Carbondale, she was a daughter of Lenore (Cominski) Fraley and the late Joseph Krenitsky. Katherine worked in production control at Raycom Electronics since 1999.

Mrs. Wheet was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Dover. She was very social and active, being a member of the American Legion Post 791 and the Dover Lioness Club.

Mrs. Wheet is survived by two sons, Richard Brillhart, Jr. and his wife, Desiree of Austintown, OH and Dennis Wheet, Jr. and wife, Wendy of Dillsburg; four grandchildren, Benjamin Brillhart, Amy Brillhart, Sarah Wheet and Dennis Wheet, III; brother, Joseph A. Krenitsky and wife, Vicki of York; and three sisters, Helen (Krenitsky) Hayden, Debbie Crawford and Cynthia Rhoades all of York.
