York - Kathryn A. "Kathy" Wilson, 71, passed away on Sunday May 13, 2018 at her home. She was the wife of Russell E. Wilson. They were married for 39 years.

Kathy was born on April 6, 1947 in York, daughter of the late Robert R. L. Hawn and Patricia A. (Dunlap) Hawn Hawkins.

She was raised by her grandparents, Emma Kathryn and Leo Herbert Hawn.

The graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Prospect Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Adrian Boxley officiating. Please meet at the PA Ave. entrance of the cemetery by 1:55 p.m.

Kathy retired from Wellspan as a patient administrative financial specialist after 42 years of service. She was a 1965 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. She was a member of the International Order of Rainbow Girls, York Assembly #92 Drill Team, Girl Scouts God and community, Boys Club of York Ladies Auxiliary. She was the secretary for Bumps-N-Burms BMX Race Track, recording secretary and board member for 14 years of the Izaak Walton League Chapter 67, York Area Sportsman Field Day at the York Outdoor Show. She loved hunting, fishing and Nascar with her husband. Kathy was a die-hard Penn State Fan.

In addition to her husband, Kathy is also survived by son, Trone R. Wampler, Jr. (Tamri) of York; and daughter, Vicki L. Landis of York; four grandchildren, Shayne W. Landis, Garrett M. Wampler, Logan A. Wampler, Kierstyn N. Landis; three great-grandchildren, Westyn C. Landis, Wyatt M. Wampler, and Mia M. Wampler; six siblings, Robert L. Hawn, Richard L. Hawn, Lori Ritchey, Steven Hawkins, Curtis Hawkins (Jaimee), Penny Cashdollar (Todd). A brother, Michael E. Hawn is deceased.
