Nancy enjoyed time with family, spoiling her dogs, reading, music, and beach and cruise vacations.

Nancy is survived by her children, Kathleen Fabie and husband, Chris, and Christina Pollick and her husband, John; a beloved grandson, Ryan, age 5, who she nicknamed her "Angel Face". She will be missed by nieces and nephews, their spouses and children; her friends; former colleagues and students; and her precious dog, Brynn. She is predeceased by her loving parents, Raymond and Joan; and her brothers, Mark and Michael Scannell.

A private water ceremony at Nancy's favorite destination, Ocean City, MD, will be held at a later date to be determined by the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Reading Partners, a children's literacy initiative in Baltimore at
