Robert Helder

Wrightsville - Robert C. Helder, 88, of York, died on January 8, 2020 at Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehab Center. He was the husband of the late Elaine Agnes (Spyker) Helder. Born in York on May 10, 1932, he was the son of the late Perry and Lillian (Frey) Helder.

Robert was a member of Canadochly Evangelical and Reformed Church. He was a farmer and also was an installation manager for Shipley Energy.

He is survived by four daughters, Carol Staub, Lori Shermeyer, Robin Lehr and Lisa Deardorff; a son Terry Helder; a sister Mary Groupe, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Lonnie Eugene Helder and a daughter Linda Runkle.

A graveside service will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
