There will never be another Sheldon Adelson. Great loss for America and Israel. Every time i had coffee with Sheldon at the Langley Del in Newton, MA I learned something.

He was a wonderful philanthropist and ardent supporter of Israel and Zionism. The relationship between Israel and the U.S. greatly improved because of him. He will always be remembered for his generosity and genuine desire to help people.

To his family , I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great humanitarian and ardent supporter of Israel. I had the honor of meeting him and he was gracious and kind. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Dear Dr. Adelson and Adelson children of Mr. Sheldon Adelson,

This morning when I read the news I became quite emotional and tearful. I did not know Mr. Adelson. However after we came to the USA - Boston - my mother and I lived in Roxbury/Dorchester until we moved out in 1963.

This world was so fortunate to have Mr. Sheldon Adelson!!! He was such an amazing humanitarian especially for Israel and having young adults experience Israel.
May G-d give you all much strength - koah!

I met Sheldon Adelson, years ago at a bash for the opening of a new high-rise. What a great man! I was, decidedly, NOT one of the high-end attendees; but Sheldon Adelson, when he addressed me, made me FEEL as if I was the most important person in the room. I will always remember that; I am truly grieving today. Go with G-d, Sheldon Adelson!

One of the most intense yet compassionate men ever in our generation. A true innovator who inspired those of us lucky enough to be on his management team to coin and make the expression "The Venetian...a place like no other" become reality. I am especially saddened by his passing as he inspired me like few others in my life. My favorite interlude with him was when we talked about how we wanted to make the Venetian different and apart from our competition and he said, "We can never allow ourselves to be among the genetic bouillabaisse of mediocrity that is the norm by the other gaming companies in our industry." A true real man. A true real Patriot. A true legend. RIP Mr. A.
