ELIZABETHTOWN Shirlee K. Nickey, formerly Shirlee K. McDonald and Shirlee K. Wilson, 79, died at 2:40 a.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011, at The Elizabethtown Masonic Village Nursing Home. She was widowed by the late C. Dillon Nickey and the late Edward R. McDonald, the daughter of Seth E. Keener and Helen E. Keener. She was a beloved teacher and English Departmental Head at York County Vocational Technical School. She is survived by her son, Arn K. Wilson of Charlotte, N.C.; her daughter, Helen K. Wilson of Huntington Woods, Mich.; and her brother, Seth E. Keener, Jr. of Tampa, Fla. The memorial services are scheduled for Saturday August 13, 2011, at 2 p.m. at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 1502 4th Ave., York, PA 17403. The family would be delighted for her former students to attend. Memorial Contributions may be made in her name to: Baltimore Child Abuse Center, 2300 N. Charles St., Suite 400, Baltimore, MD 21218.
