Barry L. Strock

Barry L. Strock, 62, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016, at York Hospital. He was the husband of Brenda L. (Gray) Strock of York with whom he celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary on January 14.
Mr. Strock was born in York on October 15, 1953, son of Evelyn C. (Gerbrick) Strock of York and the late Elmo V. "Mope" Strock.
Barry was a graduate of West York High School, Class of 1971. He was employed in sales by the former Insulation Applicators, York.
Memberships include Saint Patrick Catholic Church, York, and the Knights of Columbus Council 11872.
Barry enjoyed camping, model railroading and puzzles.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Matthew R. Strock and his wife, Autumn and Eric S. Strock, all of York; a grandson, Gabriel M. Strock; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Wendelyn M. "Wendy" Mann.
Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh). Officiating will be Father Keith M. Carroll. There will be a visitation from 1:30 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
