York - Charlotte R. (Anderson) Swemley Gohn, 96, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018, at Autumn House West, York. She was the wife of the late Emory S. Swemley and the late Charles Gohn. Mrs. Gohn was born in Dover, January 28, 1922, daughter of the late George and Mary Anderson.
Charlotte was employed as an inspector for Sylvania, retiring after 34 years of service.
Survivors include a son, George E. Swemley of York; three grandchildren, Jeff Swemley and his wife, Kathy, Scott Swemley, and Lori Lehman and her husband, Scott; four great-grandchildren, Jennifer Lindt, Greg Lehman and his wife, Sarah, Justin Lehman and his wife, Sheena, and Abby Lehman; five great-great-grandchildren, Sierra and Aiden Campbell, Eliza, Layla, and Kaylee Lehman; and two siblings, Dorothy Beck of York, and Elwood Anderson of Dover; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter in-law, Nickie Swemley; and three siblings, Margaret Marsh, Raymond Anderson, and Helen Stambaugh.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh). There will be a viewing, one hour prior from 10-11 a.m., at the funeral home. Final resting place will be Prospect Hill Cemetery, York.
