Mary Fillmore

York - Mary L. Fillmore, 77, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Fillmore was born in York, September 30, 1941, daughter of the late Harry H. and Rebecca F. Dugan Fillmore.

She was employed by Met-Ed as an administrative assistant for 34 years, from which she retired.

She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, York, where she was very active, faithful, and a devoted servant of God. Additional memberships include West York VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Shiloh Legion Post 791, and The Vikings Athletic Association.

Survivors include a nephew, Henry S. Dugan and his wife, Paula of York; great niece, Christina L. Dugan of OH; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six siblings, Margaret Altland, Ruby Hotz, Henry Dugan, George Dugan, Lucy Forbes, and Lillian Hotz.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Zion United Methodist Church, 1030 Carlisle Rd., York. Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. Bruce Fensterbush. Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m., prior to the service at the church. Final resting place will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York.

Arrangements are entrusted to the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh,) PA.

Mary was the first person to welcome us to Zion church when we started attending 12 year's ago. She will be missed.

Aunt Mary, I will miss our phone call's . But,we will see each other again in our Heavenly Home' I know you are with Jesus .Tell Granny, momma, my daddy aunt Lucy and my sister Betty I will meet them someday soon. You were there for those who didn't know our SAVIOR. AUNT MARY , MY HEART BREAK'S WHEN I KNOW I CAN'T CALL YOU ON THE PHONE, YOU ARE THE LAST SIBLING OF MY MOMMA'S. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, AND I WILL MISS YOU.
