Lorna M. Myers

York - Lorna M. (Gross) Myers, 81, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at Providence Place, Dover. She was the loving wife of Kenneth E. Myers for almost 60 years.

Born May 7, 1937, in York, daughter of the late Ernest and Mary (Krout) Gross. Mrs. Myers was a graduate of William Penn Senior High School, York Junior College, and trained at Lancaster General Hospital.

Mrs. Myers worked in the labs at York Hospital for more than 30 years and was a long time Congregational member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Trinity Road, York.

In addition to her husband, Lorna is survived by two sisters, Kay (Gross) Adams and Bettielou (Gross) Lovejoy; a brother, Lawrence Gross; three sons, David Myers and spouse, Christine, Daniel Myers and spouse, Lisa, and Jeffrey Myers and spouse, Ann; a daughter, Lisa (Myers) Treacy and spouse, John; three grandchildren, David Jr., Chelsea, and Daniel Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Avery; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, May 12, 2018, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 250 Trinity Road, York. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow the memorial service, in St. Paul-Wolf's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 250 Trinity Rd., York, PA 17408, The Alzheimer's Association, 2595 Interstate Dr., Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA, 17110, or to Heartland Hospice, 3417 Concord Rd., Suite C, York, PA 17402.

Arrangements were entrusted to the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York, PA 17408.

Aunt Lorna u will be missed very much U always had a wonderful smile n was always very kind We will always cherish the memories of coming to your house after the halioween parades n the memories up at the mountain cabin and the christmas parties u always made us feel part of the family As sad as we r n as much as your missed i know u are in a wonderful place in heaven marc n our family was very lucky to have u for an Aunt Love Always Marc , Jackie Lovejoy n Family
