YORK - Mark A. Aldinger, 49, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Michelle L. (Dinges) Aldinger with whom he celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary on July 16, 2017.
Mr. Aldinger was born in York, Tuesday, July 9, 1968, son of Joanne M. (Ness) Aldinger, York, and the late William A. "Bill" Aldinger, Jr.
Mark was employed for NAPA Auto Parts in counter sales for ten years. He was a volunteer fireman for various fire companies. He loved spending time with family and friends, Revolution baseball games, auto racing, car shows, and working on cars.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a brother, Michael E. Aldinger and his wife, Erin of York; a niece, Morgan M. Aldinger; a nephew, Logan M. Aldinger; father and mother in-law, Willard and Donna Dinges of York; sister in-law, Leanne Willis and her husband, Craig of Drums; Godchildren, Danielle and Taylor Horan, Kaitlyn Hess, Emily and Elizabeth Stover, and Olivia Riley; and grandchildren, Tanner and Sophia Eckenrode.
Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 30, at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh.) Officiating will be Rev. Micheal Figman and Chris Catalano. There will be a viewing Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, and Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
