Beverly Summers

Spring Grove - Beverly A. "Bev" (Smith) Summers, 67, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018 at York Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of Donald E. "Don" Summers with whom she celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on May 15th.

Mrs. Summers was born in Conewago Twp. on Monday, January 15, 1951, daughter of the late Jack and Ada (Crone) Smith.

Bev was a graduate of Central York High School. She worked for Pfaltzgraff and retired from Conductive Technologies as a printer.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Christina Beck of Shrewsbury; two grandchildren, Ashley and Tyler McGlaughlin. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Smith, Jr.

There will be a graveside service 10 a.m., Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Prospect Hill Cemetery. All those planning to attend, please meet at the Pennsylvania Avenue entrance by 9:45 a.m.

Arrangements were entrusted to the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh,) PA.
