Carol A. Kessler
Parkersburg, WV - Carol A. (Maughlin) Kessler, 50, passed away Friday, November 23, 2018 at her residence. She was wife of the late Dean A. Kessler, who died September of 2017.
Mrs. Kessler was born in York, Thursday, February 8, 1968; daughter of Patricia A. (Fink) Lentz, and the late Roy E. Maughlin and Charlie E. "Butch" Lentz, Jr.
Carol was employed as an insurance agent for various agencies and later as a case manager for Latrobe St. Mission, Parkersburg. She enjoyed sports, cooking, baking, and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
In addition to her mother, Patricia, Carol is survived by a son, Justin E. Bowman of York; a step daughter, Kris D. Jones of W.V.; two grandchildren, Shae and Anthony Jones; two brothers, Thomas W. Maughlin and his wife, Lisa and Robert E. Lentz and his wife, Roxann, all of Seven Valleys; several nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Hazel Fink, Sr., and paternal grandparents, Marion and Ted Maughlin and Charlie and Margaret Lentz, Sr.
There will be a memorial service 11 a.m., Friday, December 7, 2018, at Saint Jacobs UCC, 100 E. George St., York New Salem. Officiating will be the Rev. Rick Stuempfle, There will be a visitation at the church, one hour prior to the service from 10-11 a,m, Final resting place will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, York.
