Middletown - William G. "Willie" Billet, 84, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Middletown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Donna K. (Moul) Billet, who died on March 7, 1993.

Mr. Billet was born in York, Saturday, September 15, 1934, son of the late Norman W. and Mary E. (Hinkle) Billet.

He served his country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Bill was employed as a printer by BI-Comp (Maple Press) for 42 years prior to his retirement.

He served as past Captain of Shiloh Fire Police, Commander of Shiloh Legion Post 791, Commander of York County Veterans Honor Guard and coached Shiloh Legion Baseball. Bill was a member of the York Area Hall of Fame and the District 3 Coaches Hall of Fame in wrestling, coaching and refereeing.

Survivors include a son, Steven A. Billet and his wife, Cynthia of Harrisburg; three grandchildren, Tavia Flanagan and her husband, Kyle of Harrisburg, Jamie Wolf and her husband, Tim of Lewisberry and Tony Billet of York; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Conrad and Carl Billet of York; three sisters, Jackie Knaub of York, Judy Mummert of Dover and Lorraine Torres of N.C.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., December 20, 2018 at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh). Officiating will be Chaplain Dan Gilbert of Middletown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Final resting place will be in Shiloh Cemetery, with full military honors by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. There will be a viewing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
