George H. Randall II

Dover - George H. Randall II, 66, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at his residence. He was the husband of Linda M. (Tresselt) Randall who died on February 17, 2015.

Mr. Randall was born in York on Tuesday, July 8, 1952, son of the late George H. Randall and Janet M. (Lehr) Stanberry.

George was employed as a truck driver for Roadway Trucking, from which he retired.

Survivors include, two children, Melinda A. Koons and her husband, Kenneth of York and George H. Randall III and his wife Erica of Dover, five grandchildren, McKenzie, Hannah, Brennon, Colton and Lillyan, a brother, John I. Randall and his wife, Joli of York, two sisters, Sandra Jean Reimers and her husband, William of VA and Tracy J. Forney and her husband, Mark of Mechanicsburg, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael E. Randall.

All services will be private at the convenience of the family.

I was blessed to be able to meet George at several events over the last 8 years. He was a kind man, and the world is a little darker for his not being in it.

Thank you for the honor of being able to call you Friend. You will be missed.

George, "Pop Pop", will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He would go to the ends of the earth and back again for his family. He has given us countless great memories to cherish and honor the great man he was.
