I know this is very late but I just found this website and thought I'd share something. Ayden was a great friend of mine through the first and third grade at Suburban. We once spent time in lunch detention in third grade for reasons I would not like to share. During that time we made silly faces to each other across the rooms that we were in. We laughed about it so much that the teachers had to close the door. I'm in eighth grade now at York Suburban Middle School and I was just thinking about Ayden today. This is a wonderful website and I'm glad it is still here.

Yes, it has been three years, and even though I did not kno him, the pain in my heart is still the same. From what I have read, I have shared his story with family, friends and my church home. What an inspiration he was, along with the closeness, love, compassion, strong will, devotion precious memories that were shared throughout all your struggles. Ayden was one of the greatest that GOD could have blessed the world with his presence. Sharing in your sorrow. My blessings to you all and all who loved him. His name, Ayden, meaning "little fire" was truly an example of GOD at work. My prayers for Ayden and the family. I salute you!

Jennifer, Bill and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Ayden and his story have touched so many of us in such a positive way. I prayed the outcome would be different, as we all did. You all did an amazing job as parents in raising such a young man with such a beautiful soul. He helped make this world a better place indeed. I know his little body that fought so very hard is at peace. Prayers for all of you for strength and healing.

I'm so sorry a lifesaving miracle wasn't to be. As a follower of Ayden's story, this leaves me with a heavy heart. May there be some comfort in knowing he seemed to have a fun life in such a short time, full of love-from family, friends, and strangers like me alike! I'm a believer that he's in an even better place. You're in my thoughts.

So many questions and not enough answers as to why this happened to the best of the best. Nor can I understand why life is so unfair like this , but I do " KNOW " that what God , our creator , promises in HIS word is true ,that WE believers will see our loved ones again. Until then we are to continue his good works of helping others until that day comes. Thank you Bill for all you have done and will continue to do for others , in the future. You are NEVER alone my friend.
