Never have I met a more unique individual than Mr. Shelley. I felt attached to him from day one. So enjoyed his company, his stories ,his quick wit and sense of humor. I will truly miss you, but never forget you. Heaven has gained a most amazing angel. With love always

Living next to my parents I would talk to John on occasion. Very interesting and likable man.

John Sr was always the first Shelley we met when we came to John II's Nursery & Garden Center, back in the 90s and 00s. He was kind, caring, generous and would go way out of his way to make sure we got the plants we were looking for.

His son, John II, was the same way. We sure do miss that place, and the Shelleys.

God Rest His Soul.
