Edward "Butch" W. Ahrens, 27, of York, passed away suddenly on December 23, 2016 at Memorial Hospital.
Butch was born May 25, 1989 in York and was the son of Ronda Heilman of York and Keith and Karen Ahrens, Sr., of Manchester.
He attended Northeastern High School in Manchester and was employed by Auto Glass Technology of York.
In addition to his parents, Butch, is survived by a son, Ian Kurnik of York; his brother, Keith Ahrens, Jr. and his fiancé, Alisha Valerio of Manchester; his sister, Emily Ahrens of Manchester; his step-brother, Steven Buffington, Jr. of York; his step-sisters, Samantha Ingram of Dover, Stephanie Moore of York and Shannon Moore of Manchester; his maternal grandparents, Michael and Roxann Fahs of York; his maternal great-grandfather, Robert Heilman, Sr., of Mount Wolf; his maternal great-grandmother, Jean Fahs of York; his paternal grandparents, Edward and Barbara Ahrens of Manchester.
A celebration of life service will begin at 7 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2016 at The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf with the Reverend Kate Seitz Bortner officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
