Ledlie, Patricia Louisa born Toronto, December 22, 1930 passed peacefully into her Heavenly Fathers presence on Saturday, February 27th, 2021. Daughter of the late Wilbert James Kirby of Ingersoll and Constance Gertrude Powell of Toronto. Predeceased by husband John, son Paul and sister Roberta. Patricia was the loving and proud Matriarch to an ever growing family of 5 children, Wayne(Sharon), Mark(Vanessa), David(Tammie), Lorine(Ken), Tim(Angela), 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Nana/Gramma treasured her relationships with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and welcomed our blended families with opened arms. She will be missed by her cousins Diane and Donna, her sister-in-law Mae and all of her nieces and nephews as well as her many friends in the Bradford area. Patricia graduated from Shaws Business College and started a career in Business Administration for Dr Ballard in Toronto. Her teenage summers were spent on Lake Simcoe in Guilford where she met John and they married in 1951. Not long after that they left Toronto with their young family, and moved to farm country north of Bradford in the early 50's. She was a gifted artist, crafter, seamstress, gardener and culinary specialist. Countless volunteer hours were devoted in service to Grace Church Pioneer Girls, Fair Havens Bible Conference Kitchen, Danube Seniors Centre, Bradford Valley tuck shop, The Horticultural Society, Bradford Food Bank, and IODE, however, her devotion and love for her family was always paramount. Sincere thanks goes out to the community Personal Service Workers in Haliburton who cared for mom for the three years she lived in the Highlands. Thanks to the staff at Bradford Valley for their care of mom over the last 13 months, and the family would also like to express our utmost gratitude to the amazing staff at The Margaret Bahen Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of mom in her final days. The family will be celebrating the remarkable life of Patricia at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Margaret Bahen Hospice in moms honour would be appreciated by the family. www.myhospice.ca/support-my-hospice/ Sent from my iPad
