CASE, Jeanne Evangeline (nee Fisher) October 9, 1927 - November 10, 2019 92 years young. Born in Toronto, raised in East York; long term adult life in Woodbridge, Ontario. Husband Thomas Case passed away 1973. Deceased siblings Peggy, Ruby, Norman and Ethel. Only child daughter Janis Nelson, now of Beaverton Ontario, with husband Paul. Three grandchildren; Paul (Sue); Bradley (Denise), and Jody (Jeff), as well as three treasured great-grandchildren; Nelson (12), Charlie (11) and Grace (7). Many special family memories including recent birthday celebrations. Large family Christmas, Thanksgiving and Mothers' Day events always enjoyed by Mom. Long term business career at Beecham Canada, part of today's large GlaxoSmithKline Corporation; retired in late 70s/early 80s. Dedicated member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 414, Woodbridge, Ontario, where she enjoyed decades of volunteer fellowship with her many community friends and neighbours for the betterment of Woodbridge and Ontario's veterans. Her favourite times also included large family gatherings, special festive celebrations, summer cottage visits in Ontario and seasonal vacation trips to her secondary home in Florida. Mom was a determined, hard working person of great character, who led by quiet, graceful example. We all love you Mom/Gram/Great- Gramma/ Aunt Jeanne. Rest well ""up there"" with Dad/Grampa Tom and other loved ones. The family thanks all health professionals and personal care staff at MacKenzie Health Long Term Care in Richmond Hill for Mom's good care the past 18 months. All service arrangements handled by Scott's Funeral Home, 7776 Kipling Avenue in Woodbridge, Ontario. Visitation 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, November 15th; followed by Service at 11:30 a.m. and informal reception at the Scott's facility thereafter. Interment service for family and others who may wish to attend to follow later Fri afternoon at Glendale Memorial Cemetery, Hwy 27 and Albion Road. All support and caring wishes appreciated, including any donations in Mom's memory issued to The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 414, 60 Legion Court, Woodbridge, Ontario, L4L 2B4
