I have many childhood memories of Dennis growing up as neighbours on our family farms . Most of my memories of Dennis involve some sort of prank or shenanigans. You will be missed. Fly high.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to Margaret Hedley and family.
Dennis, the Hedley family and I shared so much of our early years. Hunting with our pellet guns. Crashing bicycles on scrap wood ramps. Building hay forts. Camping. Kinloss Community Center activities. Junior Farmers. Dating and high school. In recent years we stayed in contact with the occasional story or sharing a bit of amusing nonsense.
Dennis was always looking to better himself and his world. He was not willing to compromise what he felt was right. I shall miss him.
Again, my deepest sympathy.

We were so sorry and saddened to hear of Dennis' passing.
He was such a kind hearted soul and was quite thoughtful to us. We still have a beautifully eloquent letter that he sent us when our dad (Jim) passed away . I will never forget riding around the country with Al and him in Al's truck at that time.
Earlier this summer, out of the blue, I got an email from him with a cartoon he thought I'd find interesting. He recalled in detail the methods we used to build forts in haymows when we were kids (I guess in Al's barn). Apparently, to maximize structural integrity I had upped the game and used 2 x 4s !
So we have some great memories of Dennis. Please accept our condolences. Our thoughts are with you in this difficult time.
