April Lynn Smythe
ZANESVILLE: April Lynn Smythe, 32, of Zanesville, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 1, 2012. She was born December 7, 1979, in Columbus, the daughter of William A. and Brenda L. Hamilton Smythe of Dresden. April loved her family; she had many friends and she loved animals and tried to make homes for all of them. She was hoping to work at the animal shelter.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her three children, Brody, Anna, and Cameron; a brother Nick (Tiffany) Hamilton of Dresden; devoted sister Renee (Kyle) Thorn of New Concord; her maternal grandmother Connie Hamilton of Dresden; three nieces, Ava Hamilton of Dresden, and Cortney and Dakota Thorn of New Concord; four uncles, William (Jane) Hamilton of Dresden, Brent Hamilton of Zanesville, Roy Dean Smythe of Circleville, and Terry Smythe of Dresden; and cousins Austin and Shelby Hamilton of Dresden.
April was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Charles King; paternal grandmother Violet Smythe King; maternal grandfather William B. Hamilton; uncle Alvin Smythe; and cousin Ryan Hamilton.
There will be a private memorial service in her honor. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to help defray funeral costs may be made to the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home: 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville.

We was close friends at one time but time seems to slip away from us all. As we go through life we tend to become more distant from our close friends but in our hearts we will never forget them. My deepest condolences go out to Aprils family and her brother. I grew up with them and have good memories that I will keep forever.

When you feel you're going under, hold tighter to my hand. "Lean on me, when you have no strength to stand, and on me when your heart begins to bleed. When you come to the place that I'm all you have, you'll find I'm all you need."
