Mary Jane Lewis
SOUTH ZANESVILLE: Mary Jane Lewis, 65, of South Zanesville, passed away at 10:29 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Genesis Hospice & Palliative Care.
She was born on February 9, 1948, in Martins Ferry, OH, a daughter of the late William and Erma Jeffers Lewis. She was employed as a bartender. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary Aerie #302 and enjoyed crafts, gardening and spending time with her family.
Surviving are a son, William Keith Lewis of Florida; two sisters, Letha (Terry) Ward of South Zanesville and Ruby Thomas of Zanesville; three grandchildren; 16 nieces and nephews; and 31 great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Kepler.
Friends and family may call from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Graveside services will be held at a later date in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice & Palliative Care, 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
