Mary Margaret Pollock
ZANESVILLE: Mary Margaret Pollock, 75, of Zanesville, passed away at 3:40 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013 at Emeritus at North Hills.
She was born October 7, 1937, in Lancaster, Ohio, a daughter of the late Carl and Adelene Sterling Wolshire. Mary retired in 1995 after 32 years of service from Genesis Healthcare where she served as Head Nurse in the Pediatrics Unit for 19 years and then as a nurse in the Alcohol Rehabilitatation Unit. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Rosary Alter Society at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and the Good Samaritan Nurses Alumni. She was a friend of Bill W.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Norman Lee Pollock of Zanesville; a son, Patrick (Shellie) Pollock of Zanesville; two grandsons, Matthew Jordan and Landan Michael Pollock, both of Zanesville; a sister, Lois (James) Fox of Lancaster, OH; and two brothers, Raymond (Patty) Wolshire and Michael (Anita) Wolshire, both of Lancaster, OH.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE where Vigil Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 1, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Rd., Nashport. Mary will be laid to rest in Mattingly Settlement Cemetery, Nashport.
