George "Wes" Barringer
BALTIMORE: George "Wes" Barringer, 74 of Baltimore, Ohio, passed away at his residence on April 25, 2013.
Born on November 13, 1938 to the late Lloyd and Margaret (Seright) Barringer in Zanesville, Ohio. George graduated from Philo High School and Ohio University. George retired from Lucent after 25 years, he also worked at McGraw, Adison in Zanesville.
Survived by wife of 20 years Betty (Niece) Barringer; children Keith (Theresa) Barringer, Vicky (Kevin) Swiger, Dottie (Steve Gorgias) Jackson and Jimmy (Beth) Jackson; grandchildren, Drew, Bekah, Nick, Lanie, Augusta, Ashleigh, Breanna, Alexis, Carson and J.R.; great grandson Abel; sister Sydney (Ron) Ramsey; niece Andrea (Matt) Lauer; and nephew Marcus (Renee) Ramsey; and special friends Roy Littleton and Bob Emery. Preceded in death by son Jody "Brian" Barringer.
Friends may call at Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, Pataskala on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 5 to 7pm. Burial to be held at a later date in Duncan Falls Cemetery, Duncan Falls, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Leukemia Society, In Memory of Jody Barringer, 2225 Citygate Dr., Columbus, Ohio 43219. An online memorial will be located at www.kaubersammons.com.

My sincere condolences to you and your family on the passing of Wes. In my opinion, Wes was one of the most dedicated employees ever to work at the plant. If we could get our elected leaders to show the leadership and passion that Wes displayed, our country would be a much better place!

Wes was a great neighbor to have. He was alwas willing to help you out if needed. We will miss seeing him mowing the yard twice a week and seeing him sitting on the porch swing.
