Fred T. Schuster
ZANESVILLE: Fred T. Schuster, 90, of Zanesville, died at 2:25 P.M. on Sunday, June 16, 2013, at the Ohio State University Medical Center. He was born April 7, 1923, in Columbus, a son of the late John and Rose Fleisher Schuster. He had worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Central Ohio Coal, was a Veteran of the United States Marines and was a member of Amrou Grotto and Masonic Lodge of Point Pleasant #360 F&AM, Pleasant City, Ohio.
Surviving are three daughters, Karen Kline of Houston, TX, Pamela (Larry) Young and Bette Ann Stoneburner and fiancee Bill Miracle, all of Zanesville; a son, Frederick M. Schuster of Zanesville; eight grandchildren, Sarah (Josh) Micklos, Jennifer (Zach) Parrish, Erika (Rodney Hoops) Upvall, Elyse (Matt) Luburgh, Matt (Cayce) Stoneburner, Michelle (Mike) Cline , Kylie (Mike) Emmert and Freddie M. Schuster Jr.; thirteen great grandchildren, Layklin Upvall, Ava Hoops, Sydney and Harlie Erwin, Caiden, Chase and Mia Stoneburner, Jaxson and Cooper Radcliffe, Tucker Cline, Reese and Addison Micklos, and Michael Emmert III; three step-great grandchildren Paige (Jake) Parks, Hanna and Slade Luburgh; and two step-great great grandchildren Koen Moore and Knox Parks.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Betty M. Boyer Schuster, who died June 8, 2006; a sister; a brother; a grandson Robert Martin; a son-in-law Myron Stoneburner; and a daughter-in-law Kimberly Schuster.
Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. to the time of funeral service at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, with Rev. Mark Combs officiating. Masonic Lodge of Point Pleasant #360 F&AM will hold services prior to the funeral at 12:45 P.M. He will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Betty at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Table: 28 S 6th Street, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
