Duffyville - Ralph E. Duffy, A.K.A. "Red, Mick, Tiny, Red Rider or The Rev. Ralph", 65, of Duffyville, formerly of Corning was tired and passed on Friday June 8, 2018 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville. He was born April 19, 1953 in Zanesville, a son of the late Donald and Eleanore (Ross) Duffy Sr.

Red was a coal miner and a truck driver and attended the Oakfield Wesleyan Church.

Red was a loving Daddy, Dad, husband, Papaw, brother, and uncle. He was softhearted, hardheaded, honest, loyal, funny, and witty. He was a conveyor of stories and you were always assured to get the truth and then some when Red passed them on to you.

He is survived by his children Jessica( Bryan) Dorsey and Jason (Cindy) Storts; grandchildren Madisyn, Bryce and Bodey; step-daughter Misty (Lho) Galang; sisters Mary Ellen(John) Almashy, Eleanore (Richard)Russell, Patty(Kenny)Spencer, and Cindy(Gary) Hines, brother-in-law Terry Snider; sister-in-law Patty Jo Duffy, special nephews Jeremy & Joey (Jess) Duffy; father in law Jim" Big Chew" Storts; longtime friend Bob Elswick; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Besides his parents Red was preceded in death by his wife Connie Duffy, sister Mary Rita Snider, brothers Donald Duffy Jr. and John" Big Foot" Duffy, brother-in-law, David Burcher nephew Mike Almashy, great niece Adilynn Nichols, Mother-in-law Loretta Storts and brother-in-law Scott Storts.

Friends may call from 4pm-8pm on Tuesday June 12, 2018 at THE J.E.HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME 118 W. Walnut St. SHAWNEE

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday June 13, 2018 at the Oakfield Wesleyan Church 3583 St. Rt. 13 SE Oakfield, OH 43731, with Rev. Dan Hinkle officiating.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Millertown.

The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to help carry on Red's charitable ways to The Red Duffy Charitable Trust, in care of the North Valley Bank 112 N. Valley Street, Corning, Oh 43730.
