SOMERSET: Robert H. "Bob" Grossheim, 69, of Somerset, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Licking Memorial Hospital.

Bob was born on March 6, 1944 in Reading, OH to the late Norman and Catherine (Vaske) Grossheim.

He proudly served in the U.S. Marines for four years during the Vietnam War. He had been employed by IBM, Cincinnati Bell and AT&T/Paradyne during his career.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Tom Grossheim; and sisters, Mary Clark and Niki Clark.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Grossheim; sister, Janice Hard; son, Rob (Anne) Grossheim; his step-daughter, Laura (James) Granger; step-son, David (Meredith) Kronenberg; grandchildren, John and Benjamin Grossheim, Sam, Jay and Luke Granger, Wade and Jackson Kronenberg; and many loving nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Hopewell Methodist Church, 11742 Gower Rd., Somerset, Ohio 43783, with Pastor John Edwards officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bob's memory to Hopewell Methodist Church.

My deepest sympathy. I always enjoyed talking with Bob when he came to the office. He had a good sense of humor and was very interesting person. I know he has not felt well for several months, but continued to strive each day as it came. May God Bless you and give you comfort in this difficult time.
