Daniel Ritchey Obituary
Pickerington - Daniel Michael Ritchey, 58, of Pickerington, died at 11:10 A.M. Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus. He was born October 5, 1960 in Zanesville, a son of Regina E. Joseph Ritchey of Zanesville and the late Elias K. Ritchey. He was the Chief Financial Officer at Sino Agro Foods, Inc. for five years and the Owner Operator of Business Advocate Inc. He was a member of Holy Resurrection Byzantine Catholic Church, Zanesville Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, and loved to travel and spend time with his family. He enjoyed politics and being a lobbyist, working with Congressmen. Daniel loved music, particularly rock and roll.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Galina Pochynkova Ritchey whom he married March 25, 2002; two sons, Jason and Demetri Richey; five brothers, David J. (Nadia) Ritchey, Mark S. Ritchey, Chris J. (Larisa) Ritchey, Robert A. Ritchey and George E. Ritchey; a sister, Renee M. Ritchey; four nephews, Marc, Andrew, Zachary, Gabriel Ritchey; and many cousins.
Friends and family may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Friday, December 7, 2018 with Vigil services to be held at 7:45 P.M. at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE. Private funeral services will be held for the family. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Zanesville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN, 38105
