Johanna Dykgraaf Obituary

Johanna "Annie" Dykgraaf 1/11/20 ~ 8/7/05 Johanna Maria (Annie) Hekkelaan Croonenborgh Dykgraaf died in Salt Lake City. Annie was born in Rotterdam, Netherlands. She was the fourth of seven children born to Peter Johan and Hermina Stemples Hekkelaan. She married Ferdinand van Croonenborgh in 1939, together they had one child, Willem (Willy) van Croonenborgh; they later divorced. She later married Gerrit Dykgraaf. In 1956 the family immigrated to the United States and settled in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is survived by her son Willy; granddaughter, Cindy Croonenborgh; four great-grandchildren, Thomas (TJ) and Tyler Moll, Whitley and Tiarah Croonenborgh. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerrit and two grandsons, William Joseph (Joe) and Jeffery Gerrit Croonenborgh. The family wishes to thank the staff at Sandy Regional Health Center and Delaine Croonenborgh for the loving care they gave to Annie.

Willy we are very sorry about your mother, she was a great woman and from the looks of you a great mother as well are family will miss her very much. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.

Willy ~ I shall miss your Mother's laughter and quick wit. She was a special lady with an ability to always "hit the nail" on the head with her observations. I'll remember her days in Henderson going to the 1-2C slot machines with a smile. Willy, there was and will always be a special bond between you and Ms. Annie. Please know you are loved and cared for by family and friends.
