A fan of reggae, he had moved to Jamaica in the late 1960s with his manager. They started record label JAD Records and met Bob Marley and other reggae greats. Before Jamaica, Nash was a singer on the Arthur Godfrey radio program and had a top 10 hit on the R&B charts in 1965 with ‘Let’s Move and Groove Together.' He also acted in a few films including co-starring opposite Dennis Hopper in 1960’s ‘Key Witness.’ Later, he seemed to retire from the music scene and did not do any interviews.
