Mr Brian Wass of Chesterfield has passed away at The Grange Care Home, on September 17, aged 87.
Born in Chesterfield and a lifelong local resident, Brian worked for the Coal Board, after his retirement he became a cleaner at Chesterfield Police Station.
He loved holidays in his caravan in Skegness with family and gardening.
He leaves wife Eva, daughters Debbie and Tracy, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and brother Melvin. He was predeceased by daughter Paula and brother Ron.
A private family funeral service will take place.
