Mr Dennis Haslam of North Wingfield has passed away at his home aged 88.
Born in Clay Cross and a lifelong local resident, Dennis worked as a Coal Miner for 30 years, before moving to work for Ashton Containers for 14 years until his retirement in 2001.
His interests included holidays and travel, both in the UK and abroad, and touring with his caravan. He also loved watching motorcycle and sidecar racing.
Dennis leaves behind his wife Sybil, son Nigel and daughter Joy, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The funeral service takes place on Thursday, September 25, 2025, Heath Church at 12.15pm.
