Mrs Joan Hartley of Newbold has passed away, aged 83.
Born in Chesterfield and a lifelong local resident, Joan worked as a Civil Servant at the County Court offices, then later at AGD, Post Office until her retirement.
Her interests included gardening, crosswords, attending local history group, reading, especially historical novels.
Joan was predeceased by her husband Francis. She leaves daughter Susan, son Christopher, grandchildren Samuel and Erin.
The funeral service takes place on Tuesday, November 11, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 16.10hrs.
