Calow
Luca Allan Grippo of Calow has passed away aged 14.
Born in Chesterfield, Luca was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Ashgate Croft School.
Luca loved football and was an avid Chelsea fan. He was also a keen Boccia player and enjoyed attending FairPlay.
Luca leaves his parents Tracy and Mick, and siblings - Liam, Michele, Chevah, Gabrielle, Dana, and Brianna. Family also bereaved are Nannie, aunties Karen, Rane, Bev, Trish, Maria and Cheryl, uncles Ian, Anthony and Stewart, Mel, and cousins James, Aimee, Keely, Keegan, Kelly, Gemma, Anthony, Steven, Michael and Ashley.
Luca's funeral will take place on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the Parish Church of St John the Evangelist, Newbold, at 1pm, followed by burial at Brimington Cemetery.
The family would like those attending the funeral to wear something royal blue, in honour of Luca's love of Chelsea FC.
Family flowers only. Donations in Luca's memory will be received on behalf of Ashgate Croft School, FairPlay, and Chesterfield Boccia Club.
