Mrs Maria Giuseppa La Braca of Chesterfield, has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 91.
Born in Ariano Irpino, Italy and a resident of the Chesterfield area for 69 years, Maria worked at the school kitchens on Foljambe Road, then Robinsons. Latterly she worked at Dema Glass for approximately 20 years, prior to her retirement.
Her interests included her family, gardening, socialising and swimming.
Maria was predeceased by her husband Pasquale. She leaves sons Luigi and Tony, daughter Nina, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral service takes place at 11am, on 2nd September, at The Church of the Annunciation, Spencer Street, Chesterfield.
