Mrs Patricia Pashley of Newbold Moor has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 89.
Born in Sheffield and a resident of the Chesterfield area for 65 years, Patricia worked at Mays Cleaners, Phoenix Cleaners, Neills Tools and Plastic Cutters, all in Sheffield. She became a housewife after giving birth in 1960.
Her interests included doing crossword puzzles, watching films and entertainment programmes on the television, entering quizzes on BBC Radio Sheffield. In her younger days she liked socialising at the Victoria Club, Whittington Moor and also singing in pubs. She loved her cat Thomas and followed Sheffield Wednesday and Chesterfield FC.
Patricia was predeceased by her husband Frank, brothers Stan and Jack, sisters Iris, Elsie, Betty, Brenda and Audrey. She leaves son Michael.
The funeral service takes place on Wednesday, October 29, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 10.10am.
