Mr Peter Wilson, known as Pete of Chesterfield has passed away at home, aged 78.
Born in Chesterfield and a lifelong local resident, Pete was a foundry supervisor at H.I. Quality Castings, until his retirement in 2013.
His interests included fishing, wildlife, sports, gardening and holidays.
Pete leaves his wife Margaret, son Peter, daughter Tracy and son-in-law Nigel, son Julian and daughter-in-law Sam, grandchildren Lee, Beck, Sophie, Jess, Ellie and Callum, great-grandchildren Harry, Frankie and Phoebe.
The funeral service takes place on Monday, November 24, 2025, St Bartholomew's Church, Old Whittington, Chesterfield, at 10.00am.
