Passed away at home on
30th August 2025, aged 91 years.
Born in Brampton, Roy was a lifelong local resident, he worked as a postman.
Roy's hobbies and interests include ballroom dancing, DIY, wine making,
bowling and gardening.
Roy leaves his wife Sylvia, son David and wife Karen and his Grandsons Alex and Danny and their partners Sorcha and Lauren.
Funeral service takes place at Chesterfield Crematorium on Wednesday, October 1, at 11.50am.
Any donations in memory of Roy will go to Ashgate Hospice, these may be given on the day or can be sent to B. Hattersley & Sons Ltd, 211 Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield, S40 2BA. (01246 232820).
