A much loved husband,
father, son and brother.
He will be very sadly missed by his family and many friends.
There is to be a quiet private service.
A Service of Thanksgiving in memory
of Tim will be held at a later date.

Just like to say what a wonderful memorial service on Friday 6th October for such a wonderful Gentlemen - not just a GP but a person I would consider a friend. Tributes which were made were perfect !

He was such a kind man and a very good Doctor .

Very sad news. Dr Cherry was my parent's GP for over 30 years and always gave them the best possible care. He was also extremely helpful to me during their final illnesses.

Dr Cherry was my doctor when I lived in Banbury. I knew that when I moved from his surgery that no other doctor would compare. He was always a very caring man and a very professional doctor and made a difference to many others in his life I'm sure. R.I.P Dr Cherry.

So sorry to hear the sad news that Dr Ccherry had passed away.He was my wife Valerie's doctor for many years and one of those he called by her first name.He was particularly caring over her last four years and very helpful.A really good doctor.

Such sad news to hear that my old doctor has died. He treated my family over the years. Such a refreshing change to get a doctor who was down to earth...'a man of the people'. It didn't matter what your situation was he would lend an ear sharing in the bad times and the good. I can always remember he was the first doctor to call me by my name 'Sue'. When I had to move surgeries it was a sad day. RIP. Dr Cherry.

Dr Cherry was our family doctor for 30 years, couldn't have wished for a more caring and sincere GP - he came to me in Maternity after having my 3 children and made me feel very special, which is exactly what he was 'special' - No other doctor will ever come close to how he made his patients feel. Not my doctor but always my next choice, Over 30 years ago I had a home visit from him, near the end of my pregnancy. He said, hmmm, think you've got a boy in there.
Some weeks later when I was at the surgery with my baby daughter !, he passed through and said. 'Oh, what did you have'. I held my pink dressed baby for him to see and said! ' this is the boy you said I was having' well he said 'I'm right 50% of the time.
Always had time for you, a lovely man who will be a great loss to all.

He was an amazing doctor that took time with his patients didnt treat them with a 10 min slot but went that extra mile to make u feel reassured .. a doctor that would stand and have a convo with u even if he was running ten mins late he was a doctor that could never be replaced blessed to have had him as my doctor all my life horsefair will never be the same missed by so many god bless him ...

Dr Cherry looked after my Mom when she was at Chacombe Lodge for 6 years always teasing her about her purple t.v. But went all out to get her whatever treatment she needed. Rang me to express his sympathy when she died, said he would miss their little chats. Lovely man. RIP

Dr cherry saw me through two pregnancies and was my first visitor when both of my children were born. He helped me through good times and bad and was always kind and thoughtful. We will miss his wonderful caring professionalism. Sincere condolences to his family and colleagues but they can be so proud of a wonderful gentleman who made such a difference to many lives.

So sad to hear the news of the passing of doctor cherry.
He was my doctor since I was born and he was always caring about his patients.
He always went out of his way and always asked how my family was.
Horsefair surgery won't be the same without him and I certainly won't have another relationship with a doctor again like I did with him.

Dr cherry was my doctor for 30 years. He was also GP to my children my brother my partner and my mum. All I can say is a more caring GP would be hard to find. On more than one occasion he followed up in his own time because his work did not finish at clocking off time. He was a really nice human being and I do not feel I will find his like again. So sad. It was a pleasure to know him.
