Mark Richardson

Mark Richardson, 74, of Janesville, WI, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025 at Rock Haven. He was born on September 29, 1950 in Beloit, WI, the son of Donald and Linda (Havens) Richardson. Mark was a 1968 Beloit Memorial High School graduate. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mark was married to Teri Andrews for 27 years and had two children together. Mark received his electrician journeyman card and was an electrician for General Motors until his retirement after 30 years. He was a dedicated worker, avid marksman, and hiker, proud to say he was able to hike the Appalachian Trail. Mark enjoyed photography, traveling, and being in numerous card clubs. He loved being with his dogs, Mac and Cooper. Mark had a strong faith; he enjoyed driving Bus Ministry and teaching Sunday School. Family was Mark's number one priority; he was always there for his grandchildren. Survivors include his children, Michelle (Rick) Walworth and Stephen (Crystal) Richardson; grandchildren, Dakota, Isaiah, Kaitlyn, Mia, Jessica, Taylor, Chassidy, and Caden; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Sandy Herald; nieces, Lisa (Paul) Balderston and Debbie (Rich) Ward. Mark was predeceased by his parents; brother-in-law, Buford "Mick" Herald; nephew, Jeffery Herald; and granddaughter, Sydney Walworth. The family would like to give a special thank you to Agrace Hospice, the nurses and CNAs at Rock Haven, and especially his "angel" Akosua for the excellent care they provided. A Funeral Service for Mark will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, with Pastor Dan Herman officiating. Visitation of Remembrance will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service Friday in the funeral home.
