I met Alan a very long time ago, when the firm he was working for got took over by the company I was working for. He made it no secret he hated computers and inbetween not using computers I got to hear about his love for BFC, Jane and Adam. I know full well he 'retired' to get away from said computers. Our paths crossed literally again when he jumped in front of my car to let a load of school children cross the road and when he turned to acknowledge me I recognised him and give him a big old toot. I would purposely use that route just to annoy him and give him a wave.

RIP Alan, one last wave from me

My memories of Alan are when we would be waiting for our BSA coach to arrive to take us to an away Pool game .
We would chat about how we thought the game would play out .
Alan was such a lovely friendly man .
My sincere condolences to Jane ,Adam and his family and friends.
May he rest in peace

My memories of Alan are his friendly smiling face as we greeted each other whilst waiting for our BSA coach to arrive at the Saddle Inn .
And our chats of how we thought the pending away game would play out . Alan was a lovely man taken too soon.

My sincere condolences to Jane , Adam and his family and friends.
May he rest in peace free from pain

I have been friends with Alan since school days at Arnold. We had a mutual interest in sport, especially BFC and met at matches home and away over the years. A great friend and a perfect gentleman. Condolences to Jane & Adam.
