It is with great sadness that the family announces the death.
Chris was one of 4 siblings. Born to Donald and Doris Thompson. He slipped away quietly at the age of 77 on July 29th after a short unexpected illness.
Chris leaves behind his dearest and closest friend Janette Bird who attentively cared for him through the years and until the end. Chris also leaves behind his son Simon Thompson and loving daughter Juanita Sullivan and grandchildren Seamus,
Lucas and Jude.
During his early adult years, Chris spent time with wife Tilly and young children in Knowl Hill, Berkshire, often attending the yearly steam rally. Christopher Thompson was an accomplished builder/landscape gardener who took great pride in his work. In later years Chris settled in Blackpool where he enjoyed everything the town had to offer including live entertainment and fish and chips.
A private cremation was
held on Tuesday August 27th.
May he rest in peace.
